Tonight marks Justin Timberlake’s fifth appearance on SNL, making him a member of the once-exclusive “Five-Timers Club.” I say “once” because, as Groucho Marx once said, “Any club that accepts people like Adam Levine as a member is terrible and “Moves like Jagger” is an awful song.” That Groucho, so ahead of his time.
Anyway, in honor of JT’s milestone, a few of the more prominent “Five-Timers,” including Steve Martin, Tom Hanks, and Paul Simon, reunited at Studio 8H to induct the former-boy band laughing stock into their fraternity (so much paddlin’), and will presumably appear in tonight’s episode. The photo, which was uploaded to Martin’s Twitter, is the best thing to happen to SNL this year, despite the plethora of old man penis and lack of Bill Murray.
