Many assumed that Chris Pratt would host SNL this season, possibly even the premiere. Now, it’s all but official: Splitsider reports that “according to several sources — including news posts yesterday by local NBC affiliate sites that have since been taken down,” the Guardians of the Galaxy star will host an early season 40 episode, along with Sarah Silverman and BILL MOTHERF*CKING MURRAY.
The musical guests: Ariana Grande, Maroon 5, and Hozier. Expect an official announcement very soon.
