If you’re the type of Game of Thrones fan that likes to watch new episodes with your web cam pointed at your face so you can share your reactions with everyone on YouTube, Emilia Clarke says that Season 5 is going to be your time to shine. While people racked up millions of views with videos showing their hilarious, pathetic and downright disturbing responses to events like the Red Wedding, the Mountain and the Viper, and Joffrey’s worst day ever, the actress who plays Daenerys Targaryen told Access Hollywood that Season 5 should provide even more opportunities to let everyone geek out on YouTube.
“This next season I cannot wait to see. I say this every year, but after reading these scripts and filming – it’s super exciting,” Emilia told Access Hollywood on the red carpet at the SAG Awards on Sunday.
The actress (obviously) couldn’t reveal much about why Season 5 is so intense, but said fans can expect “more.”
“You know how you can watch the YouTube reactions to the crazy stuff we do? There’s gonna be a bunch of those this season,” she said. “Like, a couple.” (Via Access Hollywood)
Wait, so which is it – a bunch or a couple? Oh, I get it, she’s just being intentionally confusing so we have no clue what to expect and then – BAM! – there’s even more blood, guts and weiner all over our TV screens. If this isn’t enough information for you, though, and you just need to get your speculative juices flowing, head on over to Winter is Coming for some potentially-spoilerish fun.
As for the videos, give me a whole channel devoted just to reaction shots from freaked out fans. It would look just like this compilation and ratings would be through the roof…
