In nature there exists a very special Venn diagram. The left circle contains football fans, while the right one houses those who watch Key & Peele on Comedy Central. Later this month, they will overlap for an hour’s worth of glorious celebration.
Splitsider reports stars Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele “will host [Comedy Central’s] first-ever one-hour Super Bowl sketch special two days before the Super Bowl on January 30th at 10:00pm with an encore airing the following night at 11:00pm.” Tailgaters, comedy buffs, and those who walk the line between them will get a double dose of Key & Peele before Sunday’s kickoff.
Here’s to hoping the fellas debut a slew of brand new ideas for excessive touchdown celebrations. Maybe a few of the better ones will pop up in the game. Wouldn’t be the first time.
