It’s always nice when a story comes out of left field, especially on Conan. It allows everyone to just have fun with it for a moment. This particular story comes from Rob Lowe and it involves his failed follow-up to The West Wing called The Lyon’s Den.
He tells Conan how he knew the show wasn’t long for the television world once he saw that NBC was having them film the show in a warehouse next to a dildo factory.
The best part is that Andy Richter is there to confirm the story and add to it with his own memories of the hills surrounding the shoot being on fire and the dildo workers running for their lives. Hard to make such a thing up, unless you’re on the Internet with a lot of time on your hands.
