When we learned Twin Peaks would be returning to television after 25 years, as foretold by the prophet Laura Palmer, we could barely contain our excitement. But now, the fate of the series may be in jeopardy. At his Between Two Worlds exhibition in Brisbane, Australia, Lynch was asked if Showtime’s Twin Peaks event series — originally set to premiere in 2016 — was happening. His response is disheartening: “I don’t know. There are complications”:
Just saw David Lynch speak at QPAC. He says he's "not sure" if the new Twin Peaks will definitely happen, as there are "complications".
