John Stamos just gave Jimmy Kimmel the exclusive details behind the Full House sequel/reboot series, confirming that the series is happening and many of the original cast is returning.
Stamos revealed that Fuller House will begin as an hour special, acting as reunion of sorts featuring as many of the original cast members as possible. After that it will spin into its own series featuring Candace Cameron Bure’s D.J. and Andrea Barber’s Kimmy Gibbler raising kids in the house from the original series.
I believe everyone has expressed an opinion on this turn of events at this point, so I’ll keep my opinions to myself. I will only say that it will join other quality family programming on Netflix, like Richie Rich.
Kimmel did ask Stamos about the presence of either of the Olsen Twins in the series, but nothing could be confirmed aside from Kimmel’s own excitement at dressing up as one on his own and appearing in the show.
