Last month, Netflix announced they were moving forward with a Full House revival series and we soon found out that Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were completely out of the loop of these plans. The twins stated they were open to taking part in the project at the time but a lot can change in a month. Now THR is reporting that the Olsen twins will not be reprising their role of Michelle Tanner in Fuller House:
“Although Ashley and Mary-Kate will not be a part of Fuller House, I know how much Full House has meant to them and they are still very much considered family,” executive producer Robert L. Boyett said in a statement. “It has been exciting to see how they have built their professional careers, and I support their choice to focus on their fashion brands and various business endeavors. I appreciate their support and good wishes towards Fuller House.“
The revival of the classic ABC series will hit Netflix with original cast members Candace Cameron Bure (D.J), Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie), Andrea Barber (Kimmy Gibbler), John Stamos (Uncle Jesse), and Dave Coulier (Uncle Joey) returning. Bob Saget and Lori Loughlin are currently in talks with the streaming service to reprise their roles as well.
