It’s been one year since a Walmart truck plowed into a vehicle carrying Tracy Morgan and others causing one death and countless injuries to Morgan and others. James McNair, Morgan’s friend and partner, was killed in the incident, and Morgan himself suffered critical injures to his leg, head, and other areas. Still recovering, Morgan and his lawyer will appear on Today this Monday morning, and they’ll speak on the incident, as well as the recent settlement with the retail giant.
Tracey’s lawyer, Benedict Morelli, appeared on Today this morning to speak about the settlement and his client’s emotional response to it. Previously, Walmart blamed Morgan for not wearing his seatbelt, which led to his injuries. Despite the recent settlement with Walmart and McNair’s family, Morgan still has a separate case against the chain of stores.
