Jerry Seinfeld made some waves on Monday when he revealed that he’s not a fan of the PC generation, as well as the hypersensitive outrage that we’ve seemed to grab hold to in the internet age. He continued to lay out his point on Late Night with Seth Meyers, explaining how it has affected his comedy and stand-up in general.
Seinfeld was joined by New Yorker editor David Remnick, and the two discussed their own personal experiences with political correctness and outrage, especially when it leads to an apology. There seems to be a higher need to walk on egg shells today, and that doesn’t sit well with Seinfeld.
