Jack Griffo is an actor and singer probably best known for his starring roles in Nickelodeon’s The Thundermans and Jinxed. He also has a popular YouTube channel where he regularly posts music that he performs. This week, he will appear in Sharknado 3, which is set to premiere on July 22 on Syfy. Griffo will play Billy, the boyfriend of Ian Ziering’s daughter, in the film.
Jack was nice enough to take a few minutes out of his busy schedule recently to answer a few questions from us.
1. You walk into restaurant. What do you order for a drink?
Probably a water… but if it’s been a few days, an ice cold Coca-Cola.
2. Who’s your favorite person to follow on Twitter?
My favorite account is Because I’m a Guy.
3. What’s currently waiting for you on your DVR/TiVO?
Nothing right now actually!
4. It’s your last meal — what are you going out with?
All dessert for sure. I’d feed that sweet tooth before I go out.
5. What websites do you visit on a regular basis?
Google, Amazon, or Ultimate Guitar.
6. What’s the most frequently played song on your mobile device?
Right now, probably “GDFR.”
7. The first face that comes to mind when you think “punchable?”
I love him, and he is so entertaining, but Scott Disick.
8. What’s the last thing you googled?
Coca-Cola to make sure I knew how to spell it for this interview.
9. Dogs or cats?
Dogs for sure. Cats make me feel like they know too much.
10. Best concert of your life was…?
Jingle Ball 2012. It was the first date I had with my girlfriend.
11. What book are you most likely to give as a gift?
I’m a big fan of gag gifts. Urban Outfitters is a great spot for cool books… whatever you can find to fit someone’s personality.
12. What’s the nicest thing anyone has ever done for you?
I think to date, the nicest thing a friend can do [for me or for anyone else] is tell them when they’re out of line. Or just being a jerk. Everyone needs someone to tell them what they don’t want to hear.
13. South Park or Family Guy?
Family Guy, hands down.
14. You have an entire day to do whatever you want. What would you do?
Hang out with my friends at the beach all day, go home and shower, and maybe go to a party with everyone or throw my own.
15. What movie can you not resist watching if it’s on?
Big.
16. The sports team or teams you’re most passionate about?
Orlando Magic will always be number one. I grew up there. We’ll be good again soon… just you wait. I also like watching the Clippers. I can’t call myself a true fan, though. I moved to Los Angeles right as the team began to develop into what it is now. I wasn’t really into them before I moved here and consequently, before they were good. So, I can’t help but feel like a bandwagon fan when it comes to the Clipps.
17. Where did you eat the best meal of your life?
A steakhouse in Brazil. I don’t remember the name. I just remember there was a huge tree inside of it.
18. The last movie you saw in a theater?
Avengers 2.
19. Who was your first celebrity crush?
Megan Fox.
20. What would you cook if Nic Cage was coming to your house for dinner?
Um, I don’t know… chicken?
