Forget the Pope coming to Philadelphia. A more important figure in the historical fabric of the world made an appearance in the City of Brotherly Love this week, and his name is Bill Murray. People watching the Emmys on Sunday night may have wondered why Murray was absent from the telecast, especially when he won an award for his work in Olive Kitteridge. It’s not like Murray needs a reason to skip an awards show gala — he’s earned the right to skip whatever he pleases.
Mr. Murray was in Philly this weekend to attend his son Luke’s wedding, and photographic evidence of the cinema legend having a good time exists on the interwebs for your consumption.
