Going by his latest poll numbers, Dr. Ben Carson may soon be snagging some of Donald Trump’s headlines and blog posts. While Carson doesn’t have the unique bombastic qualities that Trump does, he is starting to match him in media-catching statements. On a recent episode of Fox and Friends, Carson suggested that in response to the Oregon shooter, he “would not just stand there and let him shoot me. I would say, ‘Hey guys, everybody attack him. He may shoot me, but he can’t get us all.’ ” which some took as Carson suggesting that the victims maybe should have done more to save their own lives. While he denied that was the case, and it’s easy to say after the fact that a better choice of words would have helped, Carson stuck to those words on multiple programs since.
After rehashing all of his recent quotes, Trevor Noah had a theory as to why Carson would choose such a method to go after mass shooters. And while I don’t think Carson is a zombie, the emotionless, almost mumbly spoken words and his infatuation with brains are some pretty strong evidence for the pro-zombie argument.
