Alec Baldwin was on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night, and Jimmy took the opportunity to surprise his guest with a few clips from their short-lived 1980’s crime sitcom. Point Pleasant Police Department may have been labeled a sitcom, but it had all the elements of a modern crime drama, including plenty of messy situations involving bodily fluids. Dick Wolf owes a lot to these two.
