It was well-known that American Horror Story: Hotel would have a connection to other seasons. At San Diego Comic-Con earlier this year, Ryan Murphy said that things are connected, and that characters from previous seasons would be checking into the hotel. Viewers already got a taste of this in the premiere when realtor Marcy (Christine Estabrook) from season one’s Murder House showed up to show the hotel’s new owner around.
Now it looks like the Murder House connection will be more substantial than we previously thought, because TMZ is reporting that on Wednesday, Lady Gaga was seen filming on location at the famous Los Angeles Victorian mansion. Apparently, the home is now sporting fresh landscaping and a new wrought iron gate, and various antique cars were seen at the shoot — like the one seen below — indicating that the house will be featured in a flashback scene.
Given the style of the cars, it seems unlikely that Jessica Lange will be making a cameo in this particular scene. But because the great thing about a series where all of the characters are dead or undead in some form is that they can play pretty fast and loose with the timeline and logistics, I wouldn’t completely rule it out. Either way, this news is certainly very exciting for fans.
