It’s been a year since Angus T. Jones threw off the shackles of weekly sitcom slavery and lashed out against those that made him a name you want to forget in Hollywood. Today you’d barely recognize him and his strong voice for Christianity, sporting a scruffy Christ-like beard and clothes I assume he stole off a hobo. Jones is deep into his Christian lifestyle and has few regrets about his decision to leave the show in an interview with Houston based KHOU:
“It was difficult for me to be on the show and be part of something that was making light of topics in our world where there are really problems for a lot of people,” Jones told Houston,Texas, television station KHOU. “I was a paid hypocrite because I wasn’t OK with it and I was still doing it.” (via)
I have a lot of respect for a guy who will throw away over $8 million a season to follow his heart. That doesn’t mean I don’t think he’s stupid, but I can respect an idiot in some cases.
