Intrepid Tumblrer (I never know what to call people on Tumblr) Rachel Millman was digging around the archives of Aziz Ansari’s Facebook page and unearthed some dusty old digital images of the Human Giant crew hanging out with the cast of The Hills at what had to be some sort of MTV-related shindig in 2007 or 2008 based on the shows’ overlapping air dates and the subdued levels of Heidi Montag plastic surgery.
Needless to say seeing the relatively-obscure-at-the-time Aziz Ansari, Paul Scheer, and Rob Huebel posing for photos with the likes of LC, Brody, Audrina, Spencer, and Heidi at the height of their collective fame is a bit surreal. But these images also serve as a really terrific reminder that even though reality television vapidness and fame-whoring may lead to fleeting fame, the world always course corrects and recognizes talented and hard-working people in the end. Unless your last name is Kardashian. Your tribe slaughtered the most virgins.
