Bruce Campbell has been keeping himself pretty busy these past few years. After his run as Sam Axe on USA’s Burn Notice came to an end, the man known by many as “The Chin” — and known to way more as the chainsaw wielding Deadite killer Ash — Campbell has been keeping a high profile for his fans.
Aside from heavily promoting Starz’s Ash vs Evil Dead series which is set to premiere on Halloween, Campbell will appear as Ronald Reagan in the new season of Fargo. On top of that, he recently created a Kickstarter to gain funding for the second season of his quirky game-show Last Fan Standing. And, oh, let’s not forget Bruce Campbell’s Horror Film Festival which kicked off festivities in Chicago on Thursday.
Speaking of Chicago, the horror icon will be appearing at Wizard World this weekend and before braving the heavy convention crowd, the Chin stopped by Fox’s morning show Good Day Chicago. The man may be known to many for his varied character work throughout many a’ B-movie — but according to the above video — he sure would make a fantastic weatherman.
I mean, anyone can stand in front of a green screen and point, but it takes real talent to do it with sound effects. A world with Bruce Campbell reporting both the weather and traffic would be quite groovy, indeed. That’s right, I said it.
