Much has been made about Trump’s performance at Monday’s debate, but a sore spot that has stood out is his alleged comments about former Miss Universe Alicia Machado. Trump defended his comments at the debate by attacking Rosie O’Donnell and then piled onto Machado again with an appearance on Fox And Friends:
“I know that person,” Trump recalled. “That person was a Miss Universe person. And she was the worst we ever had, the worst, the absolute worst, she was impossible.” What did Trump have against Machado? Well, “She gained a massive amount of weight, and it was a real problem. We had a real problem. Not only that, her attitude.”
For Trevor Noah, this proves that there is only one “piggy” involved in the entire situation and it is Donald Trump. He even goes so far as to dub Trump the “Master of Sexism” after running down Trump’s history of treating women poorly and making questionable comments. This includes his comments about Carly Fiorina’s face, his sit down chat on Lifestyles Of The Rich And Famous where he made sexual comments about his baby daughter, and one of his appearances on Howard Stern where he mentioned how attractive a teacher accused of sexual misconduct was.
Not included are his comments about Megyn Kelly, which really were the spark way back during the first primary debate. It didn’t matter then to his primary voters, but now could be a different story with a general audience.
