Donald Trump is not new territory for John Mulaney, who discussed the current presidential candidate back in 2009 on his Comedy Central Presents special. But now that he isn’t just a “cartoon rich guy” with a TV show, Mulaney is a little surprised at how well Trump is doing as an actual political candidate. But then again, John Mulaney watches a lot of Family Feud on the Game Show Network and has a very sound theory about how Trump has been able to reach such a massive audience.
