No matter how good season six of Game of Thrones turns out to be (and based on these teasers, it’s gonna be great), I’d rather watch a documentary about the last seven months of Kit Harington’s life. Since Jon Snow’s blood soaked the snow red, because of that rat bastard Olly, Harington’s life has been a barrage of “IS JON SNOW ALIVE?” queries and constant updates about the length of his hair. He’s a one-man Beatles during the “Paul is dead” days.
Harington spoke to the Digital Spy about starring in a theater production of Doctor Faustus, but the interview quickly turned to Thrones. What has he been doing since “Mother’s Mercy?” “I’ve just hit the ground, and gone undercover,” Harington said. “I’ve tried to do absolutely no press for anything.” So, that’s why I haven’t heard anything about Silent Hill: More Revelations.
As for Jon Snow’s fate:
“I was hoping that there would be an outcry of ‘why?’ and ‘oh god, no, no’ rather than ‘thank god.’ That was the right reaction as far as I was concerned! People didn’t want me to die, but he’s dead. So there you go, everyone has to get used to it.” (Via Digital Spy)
This is likely the “twist” Maisie Williams was referring to. Jon Snow is “dead,” but that doesn’t mean he can’t be resurrected, possibly by Melisandre. Harington also told the Daily Spy, “I haven’t done Thrones in a while. I had quite a lot of time off last year. I’ve been taking it easy. And relaxing.”
Jon Snow: chilling out, maxing, relaxing all cool and all in the snow, until he’s back and comes after Olly and his Sworn Brothers (I might be projecting here).
