Jonah Hill took some time during his appearance on The Tonight Show earlier to address his offensive remarks towards a very scummy paparazzo. From what I can tell, he really put some sincerity into his statement and offered up a lot of good in the face of a nasty situation.
I don’t deserve or expect your forgiveness. But what I ask, at home, if you’re watching this and you’re a young person especially. If someone says something that hurts you or angers you…use me as an example of what not to do and don’t respond with hatred or anger because you’re just adding more ugliness to the world…
I don’t really follow this sort of thing away from writing here, but I do agree with the sentiments that Vince put forth in his article from earlier. And this clip really adds to it all by not fully letting Hill off the hook, but not completely burning him on the pyre either. Compared to Alec Baldwin’s similar situation from a few months ago, I’d say that Hill is handling this extremely well.
