Until recently, the cinematic success of the Game of Thrones cast was limited. Pompeii was a dud for Jon Snow, The Other Woman failed to turn Nikolaj Coster-Waldau into a rom-com staple, and the less said about the Lena Headey-starring 300: Rise of an Empire, the better. All that should change in 2015, though: Emilia Clarke snagged the role of Sarah Connor in Terminator: Genisys, Robb Stark was a sparkling blue-eyed prince in Cinderella, and Peter Dinklage (who, to be fair, was in the profitable X-Men: Days of Future Past) will make you feel less guilty about seeing a nostalgic video game movie with Adam Sandler and Kevin James.
But none of those films are likely to earn as much as Furious 7, starring Vin Diesel, CGI Paul Walker, and Nathalie Emmanuel, best known as Dany’s handmaiden Missandei in Game of Thrones. GQ‘s Lindy West recently spoke to Emmanuel, who’s been promoted to series regular, about her big month and studying up on her character.
