When it comes to tactics and schemes against your rivals and enemies, does it get much better than Littlefinger from Game Of Thrones? Well, probably if you expand outside of the world of Game of Thrones. But in Westeros, Aiden Gillen’s Littlefinger seems to be at least eight steps ahead of everybody else.
That’s probably why the folks behind the latest audiobook recording of Sun Tzu’s classic The Art Of War tapped Gillen to lend his voice to production. It’s like a small peek inside his character’s mind through the words of Sun Tzu (feel free to replace all these Game of Thrones references with stuff about Tommy Carcetti from The Wire, it works just as well).
