Comedy Central has announced that its next roast victim will be Charlie Sheen, so prepare for strafing runs from F-18s that shoot jokes about briefcases of cocaine. Break out the tiger’s milk or whatever.
The “COMEDY CENTRAL Roast Of Charlie Sheen” (#SheenRoast) will tape in Los Angeles on Saturday, September 10. The Roast will premiere on COMEDY CENTRAL on Monday, September 19 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.
“You could say I’ve been providing kindling for this Roast for a while,” said Sheen. “It’s time to light it up. It’s going to be epic.” [Comedy Central via EW]
Finally, Charlie Sheen enters the rarefied air of Kid Rock, Larry the Cable Guy, and Pamela Anderson. What an honor it must be for one’s life to be such a massive, obvious joke that Comedy Central hires seasoned professionals to tell worn-out jokes in profane new ways. Should be fun. I mean, it’s going to be 90 minutes of jokes about abusing hookers. What’s not to like? Besides Charlie Sheen, I mean.
