One of Jimmy Kimmel’s more popular bits is “Pedestrian Questions”, where unsuspecting folks on Hollywood Boulevard are asked silly questions on camera. However, it seems like they were looking for any excuse to pull out this latest question. A recent Public Policy Poll stated that a majority of Republicans think President Obama is a Muslim, despite his insistence on calling himself a Christian and plenty of evidence (or lack of) showing that he isn’t a Muslim. If Donald Trump couldn’t find any with all of his money and China defeating powers, it isn’t a fact. Still, the surprising part with all this talk about him being pragmatic, you’d think someone would suggest that Obama was a secret agnostic, but apparently that’s not an option.
It may be because they were on camera, but the pedestrians tended to be relatively civil about their answers. I mean, civil as compared to a Facebook comments section. Or YouTube. And maybe even this one, probably.
