We’ve hit a pop culture wave of death in recent years as we watch more of TV’s most beloved characters kick the bucket in shocking, devastating, and frequent fashion. James Corden brought this up with his guests on The Late Late Show last night, and while Homeland‘s Claire Danes felt secure in her lead role, Better Call Saul‘s Bob Odenkirk felt a lot less cozy while playing Saul on Breaking Bad. I’ll just say that getting a spin-off show with Saul Goodman in the lead probably came as a huge surprise and relief to him.
