I missed this when it first hit the internet last week, but now that I know it exists, I can’t simply ignore it’s existence. It’s an actual colonic commercial in which Richard Marx, the smoothest voice of the late ’80s, sings the praises of getting your colon cleansed.
The ad is another product of IFC’s “Rhett and Link: Commercial Kings,” and I have to say, this might be Rhett and Link’s finest work yet. I’m sorry, I liked the cat hotel spot, but you just can’t compete with the singer of “Right Here Waiting” and ass fountain imagery. I’m highbrow like that.
