Hey, are you a fan of Rosario Dawson’s character on Daredevil? You probably are, because Claire Temple is kind of awesome, and, well, Rosario Dawson being on any kind of screen is never a bad thing. Well, get ready for good news because we’re going to be seeing a lot more of Dawson, as she’s going to be appearing on both the Jessica Jones and Luke Cage Netflix series. Basically, it sounds like Claire Temple is going to be the glue that holds the Marvel Netflix Universe together. A significantly sexier Agent Coulson, if you will.
In other Luke Cage casting news, relative newcomer Simone Missick will be playing Misty Knight, the bionically-enhanced former cop who co-founded Heroes for Hire with Luke Cage and Iron Fist.
Also, Theo Rossi (Sons of Anarchy) will will also have some sort of regular role on Luke Cage. Currently, the rumor is he’ll be playing regular minor Luke Cage antagonist “Shades.” Of course, Rosario Dawson and Theo Rossi will star along Mike Colter as Luke Cage himself and Alfre Woodard as Black Mariah.
Jessica Jones will debut on Netflix later this year, and Luke Cage will arrive in 2016.
