The Walking Dead, Better Call Saul, Vinyl, Broad City, Girls, Togetherness, Vikings, and 11/22/63 all either return or premiere next week. That’s a fantastic lineup of television, but it can’t compete with the night of April 24, when the new seasons of Game of Thrones, Silicon Valley, and Veep debut on HBO. (It’s also Kelly Clarkson’s birthday, which is neat.)
We still haven’t seen any official full-length trailers for those three shows yet, but a few teasers are out. Here’s a bunch for Game of Thrones, and HBO dropped one for Silicon Valley today. If you’ll recall, at the end of season two, Richard was removed from the CEO position at Pied Piper. It looks like this season will be about him fighting to regain control of his company, and also trying to act like a tough guy and breaking his nose on a table.
Is it April 24 yet? (No. Until then, might as well watch T.J. Miller’s hosting protégé Chelsea Perreti lampoon Silicon Valley bros again.)
