Now that the third and final presidential debate is over, American voters can get on to what really matters. Specifically, Saturday Night Live‘s pending lampoon of the media fiasco courtesy of Kate McKinnon’s phenomenal Hillary Clinton and Alec Baldwin’s frighteningly accurate Donald Trump. This weekend’s episode is sure to feature plenty of goodies with host Tom Hanks and musical guest Lady Gaga, but let’s be honest — everybody wants to see more of McKinnon and Baldwin. Except, of course, for Alec’s younger brother Stephen Baldwin.
Stephen, who came out in support of Trump’s campaign during the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, took part in Wednesday’s post-debate spin room on his candidate’s behalf. That’s when CBS News caught up with the Bio-Dome star to ask him the most important question imaginable: “Your brother’s portrayal of Donald Trump on SNL, what do you make of it?”
“Well he’s got the voice down very well. I think it’s getting a little too nasty right now,” said Stephen. “What do I think about Alec Baldwin’s impersonation of Donald Trump and SNL and everything they’re doing? I don’t want to be a party pooper here, but I don’t think it’s very funny. I don’t think there’s anything funny about this election.”
Actually, Stephen said the word “poop” on broadcast television. That’s pretty damn funny.
