I think the weirdest bit about this Tweeting Rainbow segment from Jimmy Kimmel Live is how earnest LeVar Burton seems, even in parody. He’s had a lot of success lately with his monumental Reading Rainbow Kickstarter, so I guess he wants to have a little bit of fun now.
Here he’s showing kids the ins and outs of Twitter, explaining the unicorn status of Mario Lopez and uncovering the mystery why someone would want to put their face in the mayo.
It’s also pretty funny that Burton has had his own pitfalls on Twitter and could use a show like this to learn the right and wrong ways to “do” Twitter.
