A third season of Twin Peaks has been rumored to be “in production” so many times that one of these days, it’s actually going to come…no, it won’t, season three of Twin Peaks isn’t happening. At least not officially, because Agent Cooper is still dealing with BOB, just without David Lynch and Mark Frost’s knowledge.
Enter the Lodge labels itself as an unofficial “experiment in Twitter fiction, by Twin Peaks fans for Twin Peaks fans.” The story begins where the second season ended (“I’ll see you again in 25 years”), and is being told through Twitter conversations between the show’s main characters. Like so:

It’s incredibly involved and about as nerdy as TV fandom gets. And now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to get an entire cherry pie and a damn fine gallon of coffee and read the whole thing.
