When Harris Wittels died at just 30 of a drug overdose, his friends filled Twitter and Tumblr with memories of the young comedian they’d lost so suddenly. One person deeply affected by his death was Sarah Silverman. At just 22 years old, Wittels became a writer for The Sarah Silverman Program.

Rob Schrab, a writer, director and producer on The Sarah Silverman Program, also tweeted his feelings regarding the loss of his friend.
I miss him. I miss so fucking much. RIP Egg Nog Bro.

But he didn’t stop there, putting together the above video with clips of Wittels behind the scenes, performing and photos, and featuring Sarah Silverman herself singing “The First Day of My Life” by Bright Eyes. The video is NSFW for language, but it’s definitely suitable for tissues.
