Everyone loves Ellen DeGeneres. Maybe that’s why the celebrities that come onto her daytime talk show don’t mind sharing the more private details of their life.
Take the cast of Mortdecai for instance. Paul Bettany, Gwyneth Paltrow and Johnny Depp are all seasoned actors so they’ve been around the block a time or two when it comes to deflecting those intimate, sometimes invasive questions interviewers like to ask, but evidently all it takes is one friendly, dancing comedian and a game of “Never Have I Ever” to get them to spill their guts on national TV.
In case you’ve never played the popular party drinking game, it goes something like this: a player shares something they’ve never done and the rest of the group admits to whether they have or have not done that same thing. Of course this being Ellen, there was no drinking involved, but the host did get in on the action and got her guests to share some pretty interesting tidbits about themselves.
Criminal records, sexting, and joining the mile high club (which is apparently the thing to do if you’re an A-list celebrity) were all topics tackled in the quick game but what this whole activity really revealed was the fact that, like the rest of us, celebrities have no problem lying about how ugly most babies are.
