Franklin & Bash (TNT, 9:00 p.m.) – Season finale. Ummmmmm did you guys see Rob Lowe in last week’s episode? I know they had been setting it up all season, but I didn’t think it was really going to happen. I actually found myself getting excited when he popped up on screen. I live a rich and fulfilling life.
Duck Dynasty (A&E, 10:00 p.m.) – Season premiere. I suppose I don’t get to write about how excited I was about a Rob Lowe cameo on Franklin & Bash then turn right around and make fun of people who watch Duck Dynasty, do I? Fair enough.
The Bridge (FX, 10:00 p.m.) – The best character on this show is the sassy receptionist at the police station.
Extreme Cougar Wives (TLC, 9:30 p.m.) – From TV Guide: “In the premiere of this series profiling older women who date younger men, a 54-year-old who was dumped by her ex dates a 25-year-old man; a 90-year-old finds love with a younger man; and a 55-year-old is attracted to a man who’s closer in age to her teen daughter.” EEK! Relationships between two consenting adults! GROSS! Good show, TLC.
Broadchurch (BBC America, 10:00 p.m.) – Try saying “Broadchurch” with a Michael Caine accent. It’s fun.
LATE NIGHT GUESTS: Oprah and Christopher Mintz-Plasse are on Kimmel; Regis Philbin is on with John Oliver; Kevin Spacey is on Colbert; Eric Bana, Josh Gad, and The National are on Conan; and everyone else is in repeats.
