Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel (HBO) — Tonight’s episode features a profile of the sports blog Deadspin, which would be leading-edge if GQ hadn’t profiled editor A.J. Daulerio (pictured) last month. Fun fact: I probably wouldn’t be a blogger today if I hadn’t started commenting on Deadspin more than five years ago. So that’s another thing you can blame it for.
Glee (Fox) — The cast sings some Justin Bieber songs tonight, which means that for once a “Glee” cover might be an upgrade from the original.
Tosh.0 (Comedy Central) — Tosh dresses as the Ultimate Warrior in a Web Redemption for the Crying Wrestling Fan.
Parenthood (NBC) — Michael Emerson (“Lost”) guest stars as an entomological expert. (For any stupid people out there, that’s the science word for “bugs.”)
Hardcore Pawn (truTV) — Season premiere. I prefer “Hawdcoah Pawn” when I visit Boston.
Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern (Travel) — This show is completely different now that I know Zimmern was a homeless junkie. I just picture him making a circle of bleach around his bed in the Philippines to keep the rats out while he he sex with a cross-dressing Thai businessman for an extra helping fish head stew.
LATE NIGHT GUESTS: January Jones on “The Daily Show;” Jeremy Renner and Eric Stonestreet (“Modern Family”) on Kimmel; William Shatner and Gillian Jacobs on Ferguson; Justin Bieber on Lopez; Victoria Beckham on Fallon; and SI Swimsuit cover model Irina Shayk on Letterman. In an interview with SB Nation‘s Spencer Hall, Shayk professed her love for the work of Haruki Murakami. Great, as if the sex dreams in The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle weren’t already sexy enough.
