Intervention (A&E, 9 p.m.) — Series finale. Intervention has quietly (relatively speaking; it’s a show about addicts after all) been on A&E for 194 episodes over 13 seasons, beginning back in the dark days of 2005, and I’ve never seen a single second of it. It’s not that I’m assuming it’s going to be terrible — I’ve only heard great things about it — but the premise never interested me, and I rarely get excited to turn to A&E. So, to answer the question in the headline: Intervention. What about you? (No, Homeboys in Outer Space doesn’t count. That’s a GREAT show.)
Music Mavericks (Ovation, 9 p.m.) — I’m choosing to believe this special’s about GG Allin.
Blast Vegas (Syfy, 9 p.m.) — It’s no Sharknado, but Blast Vegas does star Frankie Muniz and…it’s no Sharknado.
Wilfred (FX, 10 p.m.) — Wilfred forces Ryan to collaborate on a birthday gift for Jenna. Give her that thing.
Hollywood Game Night (NBC, 10 p.m.) — We normally wouldn’t advocate watching a game show on NBC, when there’s so much more you could be doing with your life (like watching Intervention), but guest appearances from Sarah Chalke will make a man do crazy things. Like kill Dustin and Danger if they speak to her before me.
LATE NIGHT GUESTS: Liev Schreiber on Letterman; Anthony Hopkins and Amy Schumer on Leno; Jeffrey Tambor on Ferguson; Ryan Reynolds, Bob Saget, and Fall Out Boy on Fallon; Jeff Garlin and Olivia Munn on Conan; Sarah Vowell on Stewart; and Jeff Bridges on Colbert.
