Forget the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots. Super Bowl XLIX is now about Chris Evans and Chris Pratt, as the Pats-loving Captain America and Seahawks-supporting Star-Lord have agreed to terms on a bet that almost no one will lose. On Monday, once their teams were both set to face off in Glendale, Arizona on February 1, and while most people were busy nursing their hangovers and talking about deflated footballs, Marvel’s highest-grossing Chrises took their trash-talking to Twitter to create a bet for the ages.
It began with Evans, who stated that their friendship would be put on hold for two weeks until a winner is declared, but once Pratt responded, they knew that they had to raise the stakes and find someone to benefit from their delightful Twitter antics. Their benefactors? The kids, naturally.

@ChrisEvans We both know there's only one Captain America and his name is Russell Wilson. #SuperBowlBound #LOB #Repeat

Will there be trash-talking along the way? Oh yes:
@ChrisEvans Humiliate my Seahawks? Maybe talk to Brady about deflating your expectations. BOOM! (legion of) You're on sucka. 😊

That’s the Seattle Children’s Hospital and Christopher’s Haven in Boston that they’re referring to, but this bet is obviously not fair to the kids in the losing city. The only real solution would be for both actors to attend each hospital in costume together, so we can eventually publish the pictures with a spectacular headline like, “ZOMG! CAPTAIN AMERICA AND STAR-LORD TEAMED UP!” Of course, if I had to guess, I’d say the odds are pretty great that it happens regardless of the game’s outcome.
