After having her Miss Universe dreams effectively dashed earlier this week thanks to a tricky ballot card, Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez Arevalo has finally spoken out about her vast disappointment. But the Colombian beauty is now letting everyone know that she’s holding her head up high in this time of adversity in a lengthy Instagram post on Tuesday night. In it, she thanks everyone who has supported her through this difficult period, turning lemons into lemonade by saying that due to the mix-up, people are now talking about Colombia and the Latin community. (Probably more than if she had won the damn thing, to be totally honest.)

There’s always next year, right? Oh wait, no, I guess there will be a totally new Miss Colombia next year. But maybe she’ll get her own reality show? That’s something!
