Christopher Reeve’s Son Is One Of Three New ‘Sportscenter’ Correspondents

ESPN has announced the addition of three new correspondents who will be joining their SportsCenter team. They are Will Reeve, who is the son of the late Christopher Reeve of Superman fame, comedian Reese Waters, and former social media strategist of National Geographic’s Wild Sarina Morales. Their new roles will be news features and on-the-road segments where they’ll report from various sporting events.

“I’ll be different from a traditional SportsCenter reporter because I won’t be behind a desk in a suit,” said Reeve, 22. “These stories are not going to appear on air and then fade off; they are going to get an extended life digitally and on social media.”

Reeve got his start as an intern with ABC and Good Morning America. Waters, 34, is a veteran of the network as he was formerly host of the late-night college sports show Unite on ESPNU in 2012. Morales, 28, said she hopes to bridge the gap between the show’s anchors and what is happening on social media.
