Watch This MLB Network Analyst Hit His Co-Host In The Head With A Line Drive

Sean Casey will probably never make it to the Baseball Hall of Fame, but the former three-time All-Star had a pretty nice 12-year career as a Major League Baseball player. While his power numbers weren’t exactly Barry Bonds-esque, he did have three seasons of 20 or more home runs, so he could hit for a little power during his career.

Unfortunately for MLB Network host Lauren Shehadi, she learned that Casey could rake the hard way. While taking batting practice in preparation for the celebrity softball game that happens during All-Star Weekend – Casey played for the Cincinnati Reds for nine years and is participating in the game – he ripped a line drive that hit Shehadi in the side of her head.

The good news for Shehadi is that it was a wiffle ball, and it didn’t seam to faze her at all. The good news for Casey is that his swing, which helped him hit .302 during his career, still looks pure, and his co-worker didn’t get hurt.
