The Man Who Shot And Killed Joe McKnight Is Finally Facing Charges

The man who admitted to shooting former NFL player and USC star Joe McKnight has finally been charged in the killing. Ronald Gasser, 54, has been changed with manslaughter, according to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Department in Louisiana.

The shooting occurred last Thursday in what the police later called a “road rage incident.” Gasser was found at the scene by police, where he handed over the gun used in the killing. He was taken into custody, but later released while police investigated whether it was a justifiable homicide. According to the autopsy, McKnight was shot three times while he was inside his car.
