Rob Gronkowski And Tom Brady Took Over April Fools’ Day And It Was Spectacular

Chances are, if Rob Gronkowski does something, he does it awesomely and hilariously. It will also likely be borderline inappropriate, if not outright so. Either way, the fact that it took Gronk this long to have any kind of presence on Instagram is a war crime.

Anyway, Gronk + social media + April Fools’ Day is the formula for all things wonderful, and the New England Patriots tight end didn’t disappoint. First, Gronk answered Tom Brady conch call (a la Anchorman) to get things going:

Then, Gronk decided April 1 was the wrong day for Brady to take a nap while he was around. (Of course, it’s quite possible that Brady likely isn’t actually napping. Still, the joke holds.)

The thing about April Fools’ Day is that you have to check every news article for validity and be skeptical about everything you read. (In theory, we should do that anyway, but that’s another topic for another day.) But that’s why Gronk is different. He’s the truth. And if the first few days of him on Instagram (and Brady’s Facebook) are any indication, social media just got a whole hell of a lot more fun because of it.

What a lovable weirdo he is.
