After two successful specials, Adult Swim’s Robot Chicken will be coming back for a third crossover with DC Comics titled Robot Chicken DC Comics Special 3: Magical Friendship.
So far, we’ve seen Batman get completely fed up with heroes constantly dying, only to come back later, Aquaman making moves on a dolphin and Gorilla Grodd (reluctantly) tying the knot with Bizarro. Now, Seth Green and Matthew Senreich are back to show our heroes and villains in even more quirky scenarios that we didn’t even know we wanted to see, but really, really do.
In the trailer for the third installment, we see more of Batman and Superman’s tension – is Batman really just a guy that takes cosplay too seriously? – and appearances from heroes throughout the Multiverse. Which means that a lot more voices will be brought into the fold, including Adam West, Burt Ward, “Weird Al” Yankovic, Alfred Molina and Mae Whitman, to name a few.
