Check Out Nebraska’s New ‘Husker Bold’ Alternate Jerseys From Adidas

It’s July, so what’s better to cure our football withdrawals than some sweet new college football uniforms? On Thursday morning, Adidas unveiled these new uniform alternates for the Nebraska Cornhuskers, and these things are seriously sick. Call me a sucker for all-black everything, but I’m digging these.

According to the official release, the new uniforms are “at the forefront of design and innovation, providing players the perfect blend of style and technology for elite performance.” The alternates are made with Adidas’ “Primeknit” technology, which based on the company’s description of it, sounds really savvy.

“Primeknit is the premier compression uniform system, featuring the latest generation of adidas TECHFIT technology. Primeknit helps keep players cool and increases range of motion, giving athletes an unrivaled level of comfort and allowing them to perform at their highest levels. The jersey’s padlock system secures tension over the shoulder pads, while the bodymap fit adheres to the player, making it difficult for opponents to grab, hold or tackle.”

These will be worn for the Cornhuskers’ home game against Northwestern on Week 8 of the season.
