It’s been a rough start to the season for the Philadelphia Eagles, who have lost their first two games in rather embarrassing fashion. The best play of the year thus far from an Eagles player may very well have come in the video above, when cornerback Nolan Carroll took down a dumb fan who decided he was going to run onto the field during the game.
The fan looked pretty proud of himself as he was being hauled away by security, but he’s just lucky that Carroll took it relatively easy on him because, when it comes to being tackled without pads by a pro football player, he got off rather easy, all things considered.
Let this be another reminder that running onto the field in any sport, whether it’s football, baseball, diving, rugby or pro wrestling (especially pro wrestling) is a very bad idea and could lead to physical injury in addition to being kicked out and possibly arrested, so maybe stop doing it! But if you really feel like you absolutely have to, don’t tweet about it first, and definitely don’t run out into the middle of a group of pissed-off NFL players.
