Kristaps Porzingis Had A Sick Putback Dunk And Chase-Down Block Against The Bucks

Kristaps Porzingis of the New York Knicks continues to be a highlight machine. On Sunday against the Milwaukee Bucks, Porzingis had 15 points and five blocks in the Knicks’ 100-88 victory that featured multiple stand-out moments from the 7-foot-3 center.

In the above video, Porzingis somehow grabs a rebound on the other side of the rim and dunks it, then picks up a block on the next defensive sequence. Porzingis talked about what plays, like the one he made on the offensive end, do for the Knicks on the other side of the court. From the ESPN.com game story:

“Every spectacular play we have, we just gain energy from that on the defensive end and we’re able to play better, more together as a team on the defensive end, just because we have that energy from that highlight or whatever happened,” Porzingis said.

For good measure, Porzingis also ran down the Bucks’ Khris Middleton for a block from behind.

Here’s the Greek Freak on KP’s defensive presence:

“He plays the game in a lot of ways,” Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo said. “Offensively, he made a tough 3. He blocked a lot of shots. Just makes it tough for us. Our game is to finish in the paint and he made it really tough for us tonight.”

Porzingis has been a difference-maker for the Knicks, who have won four of five, but he also makes mundane plays like grabbing a ball after a foul worth watching.
