‘Bad Moms’ Red Band Trailer Features Pretty Much Exactly What You’d Expect

Sometimes a movie doesn’t feel the need to beat around the bush with its title and just gets straight to the point. That seems to be the case with Bad Moms, the new comedy starring Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell (she of perpetual internet stardom), and Kathryn Hahn. The red band trailer dropped today and features the three actresses playing moms that are tired of living up to today’s excessively straight-laced rules of parenting. If you give it a watch, you’ll get everything from Mila Kunis driving a muscle car to a conspiracy to punch Christina Applegate’s villainous Gwendolyn, a Stepford Wife From Hell character, in the boob.

The official synopsis reads:

In this new comedy from the writers of THE HANGOVER, Amy has a seemingly perfect life – a great marriage, over-achieving kids, beautiful home and a career. However she’s over-worked, over-committed and exhausted to the point that she’s about to snap. Fed up, she joins forces with two other over-stressed moms on a quest to liberate themselves from conventional responsibilities – going on a wild, un-mom-like binge of long overdue freedom, fun and self-indulgence – putting them on a collision course with PTA Queen Bee Gwendolyn and her clique of devoted perfect moms.

Bad Moms also features appearances from Jada Pinkett Smith and relative unknown Annie Mumolo. The film comes to you from Jon Lucas and Scott Moore, two of the writers of another movie about normal folks making terrible decisions. If it’s half as funny as that one, it’s guaranteed to be a good time. Bad Moms comes to theaters on July 29th.
