What’s On Tonight: Netflix’s ‘Marseille’ Premieres And The ‘Archer’ Scary Clown Situation Continues

Marseille (Netflix) – In case you couldn’t tell from all the subtitles in the first trailer, this show was made for the French. It’s part of Netflix’s bigger plan to expand into the European market. Whether it’s a bust or not remains to be seen, but just because it’s in a language most of us (sadly) don’t speak doesn’t mean there isn’t something for an American audience. The series follows Robert Taro (Gerard Depardieu), the mayor of the title city who faces conflict when he’s forced to pass the torch to his successor. Violence, betrayal, sex and a war for power follow. Think House of Cards with less BBQ, more baguettes.

Archer (FX, 10:00 p.m.) – The scary clown hostage situation from last week spirals even further out of control when Archer and Lana go missing.

Bones (Fox, 8:00 p.m.) – Brennan faces suspension after she’s called to testify in an assault case and Booth may have a connection to a murder suspect accused of killing an ex-con.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow (CW, 8:00 p.m.) – The team finally captures Vandal Savage, but no one can agree on what to do with the scumbag next. Kendra wants to kill him, but hesitates when he tells her he can reunite her with Carter; Rip wants to hand him over to the Time Masters (Rory and Snart don’t); and Savage just wants to use his new prisoner-status to taunt Ray.

Grey’s Anatomy (ABC, 8:00 p.m.) – Arizona and Allie are still in the middle of a nasty custody battle while Alex and April are dealing with a pregnant teenager and Stephanie’s figuring out where she stands with Kyle.

The Big Bang Theory (CBS, 8:00 p.m.) – Penny struggles to make nice with her mother-in-law and Sheldon proves what a douchebag he really is when he hires Stuart to spend the day with Amy so he can attend a movie screening minus his plus one.

WWE Smackdown (USA, 8:00 p.m.) – On tonight’s agenda: an Uso Crazy tag-team event, Rusev takes on Zack Ryder and The Vaudevillains clash with The Social Outcasts.

The Odd Couple (CBS, 8:30 p.m.) – Felix helps Teddy overcome his fear of dogs as Charlotte and Oscar consider taking their relationship to the next level.

American Grit (Fox, 9:00 p.m.) – The competitors must memorize and recreate a specific set of symbols. (This may be the only challenge my out-of-shape butt could actually stand a chance in.)

Scandal (ABC, 9:00 p.m.) – Edison’s beginning to realize the massive mistake he made when deciding to hitch his cart to the B613 wagon and Olivia teams up with frenemy Abby to take down the guy everyone hates, Hollis.

The 100 (CW, 9:00 p.m.) – Raven and Monty may have figured out a way to stop Alie, which is good seeing as Clarke’s plan of persuading Luna to take the Flame and become the next Commander isn’t working out too well.

The Blacklist (NBC, 9:00 p.m.) – Red makes a connection that leads the task force into a dangerous cat-and-mouse game.

Mom (CBS, 9:00 p.m.) – Christy makes the Dean’s list at school, but Bonnie isn’t as excited for her as she’d hoped.

2 Broke Girls (CBS, 9:30 p.m.) – Max and Caroline want to expand their desert bar, but they have to go through the owner of the pizza restaurant next door in order to do it.

Inside Amy Schumer (Comedy Central, 10:00 p.m.) – Amy scores an Oscar and eats pasta from the trash.

Orphan Black (BBC, 10:00 p.m.) – Rachel must make a difficult decision sans Susan; Sarah teams up with a former enemy to take down the head of Neolution; and Alison orders Felix and Donnie to invade a Neolution fertility clinic.

The Catch (ABC, 10:00 p.m.) – Alice has Dao take a new approach to investigating Ben as the team takes on a missing-child case.

Game of Silence (NBC, 10:00 p.m.) – Jackson, Gil and Shawn return to Quitman to look into a former inmate’s sudden disappearance.
